Over the last 10 years, we have been honored to plan over 350 weddings and serve over 60,000 guests at Sainte Terre. Helping our couples create lasting memories and start their new life together means everything to our family.

Although this film was created several years ago (prior to the construction of our outdoor chapel and The Stables venue) we believe the heart of it still rings true. You not only get a unique view of where our property began but can also hear who we are and why we do what we do, directly from our owners. It's the perfect place to start!

Holly Schreiber
Founder, Owner, Executive Chef

Growing up in NWLA under the fine tutelage of proper Southern ladies, it is not hard to see how Holly developed a love for all things food. After graduating from TCU with a degree in nutrition and the prestigious French Culinary Institute in New York City, Holly has spent years working in culinary media and production. She has had the pleasure to work on-set for the Bravo TV network, to develop cookbooks and recipes for The Katie Brown Workshop, Country Living Magazine, Master Chef Alain Ducasse, Emmy-winning Executive Producer Lauren Deen, Kroger Grocery Stores and even Duck Dynasty's Miss Kay. Her love of food and family translates into every dish she prepares. She will ensure your wedding menu will be truly memorable.

Derek Schreiber
Founder, Owner, Hospitality Director

For any event you are planning, you want Derek on your team. Derek has worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. He has opened restaurants and planned A-List events nationwide for such groups as Planet Hollywood and the Les Halles Restaurant Group, and has owned two of his own establishments at world famous Breckenridge and Keystone ski resorts in Colorado. From service to staff, his experience is key in helping to create a flawless event from start to finish.

Hillary Moss
Owner, Wedding Designer & Lead Coordinator

From her time working at renowned art and antique galleries in New Orleans to styling clients, merchandising and display design at Anthropologie, Hillary has developed a signature style and creative eye that is an invaluable asset to brides-to-be at Sainte Terre. Her work has been featured in The Knot, Style Me Pretty, Junebug Weddings and more. She has also been named one of the top area Coordinators and Designers by Locals Love Us. Hillary works to stay up to date on all the latest trends, while staying true to Southern tradition. She will help to make your event seamless and stress-free. She makes the impossible possible and is truly a bride's best friend!

Our Journey

The construction process for our venues was as unique as the venues themselves. Sainte Terre now stands on land that - 10 years ago - was covered by dense Louisiana woods. We cleared the land, designed the spaces, and once the structures were built, we completed nearly all of the finishing work ourselves. Parents, grandparents and friends were painting, landscaping, and installing bathroom stalls.
When we had the opportunity to add on the adjoining property for our second venue, The Stables, we kept every original structure that was on the property and reimagined what they could be. The old hay barn became our entrance, the actual stable became our chapel, and the training ring is now an outdoor lounge. We were able to build a new reception space to complete the project, which became Hillary’s “design baby”. We were just as involved in the details of our second space as we were the first. For example: Casey, our Estate Chef, is also a master carpenter. He installed herringbone accent walls, all of the amazing trim work and built our one-of-a-kind bar.

Sainte Terre Estate consists of almost 60 acres of pastures and rolling hills, nestled in the northwest Louisiana countryside. We have two unique venues, each with its own distinct style. Each venue has its own reception, ceremony spaces, and staff, as well as separate parking areas. Most every weekend, we have weddings at each venue at the same time!

Why We Are The World’s Greatest

There are beautiful and amazing venues all over the world. There are wedding coordinators who cater to the stars. There are classically-trained chefs who prepare 5-star meals. But, there is one problem with that when it comes to weddings - all of those amazing people and places are not on the same team - working week in and week out - to focus solely on weddings.

We are completely unique in the wedding industry because we are a truly All Inclusive venue, making wedding perfection happen every weekend. There are many venues who claim to be 'All Inclusive', yet they only outsource the event to other vendors. The venue (or coordinator) ultimately has no control over the actual outcome of the food, the quality of the staff, the timeliness of the DJ, etc.

The All Inclusive nature of our venue and process means that we handle all of the planning, coordination, catering, entertainment, cakes, photography, staffing, training, and more. Our team is in-house and we plan the entire event together from the ground up. We each have unique talents and industry experience that make Sainte Terre the absolute best place to get married. We've had brides from around the world plan their weddings with us.

One would think that a venue - hidden away in North Louisiana - could not be all of these things. But, we believe that the accolades we have received - from Southern Living to Luxe Weddings to our local news - speak for themselves. Even in our small corner of the world, we have gained recognition from around the world!
